






Day 1:
Departure from USA
Day 2:
Arrive at your hotel and relax before a brief orientation walk. Dinner is planned for entire group this evening.
Day 3:
With your Florentine guide, you will begin exploring Florence’s Renaissance tradition. Visit the Church of Santa Maria Novella to see Masaccio’s Trinity and Giotto’s Crucifix, then it’s on to San Lorenzo with Brunelleschi’s magnificent interior and the Michelangelo library. Afternoon is free to pursue your own interests.
Day 4:
Today’s guided walk includes the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Duomo, and Santa Croce. After lunch, you will regroup for an afternoon visit to the Academy of Art to see Michelangelo’s David.
Day 5:
The Uffizi Gallery highlights today’s organized touring. In the afternoon try the Pitti Palace, the Bobili Gardens, the Brancacci Chapel, or the Bargello. A group dinner is planned for this evening’s activity.
Day 6:
A morning drive takes you to Medieval Siena. Your local guide will bring Siena’s glory back to the present day, including an inside visit to the spectacular Duomo. After an independent lunch and time to wander, the coach and guide take you to nearby San Gimignano. After a short orientation walk, you will have time to wander this UNESCO World Cultural Heritage city. An evening dinner is planned inside the city’s medieval walls.
Day 7:
This day is all yours to wander, shop, or take in more of Florence’s artistic traditions.
Day 8:
Time to return to the airport and your flight back to the USA
