Day 1 - Departure:
Evening departure on scheduled airline.
Day 2 - Madrid:
Upon arrival, you will be met by an IC  representative and transferred to your hotel. A group lunch will be followed by light orientation sightseeing.
Day 3 - Madrid - Royal Palace - Prado Museum:
A morning tour includes the Royal Palace and Prado Museum. In the afternoon relax, shop, or see other places of interest. A group dinner is scheduled for this evening.
Day 4 - Madrid-Toledo-El Escorial-Valle De Los Caídos:
Today begins with a morning tour of Toledo where you will visit the Cathedral, Santo Tomé Church, and see El Greco’s most famous painting, “The Burial of the Count Orgaz,” the Synagogue, Bisagra’s Gate, Alcántara’s Bridge and the Alcázar. After a group lunch, travel to El Escorial, the 16th century monastery-palace and El Valle de los Caídos, Spain’s tribute to those who died during the 1930s Civil War. Return to Madrid in the late vafternoon.
Day 5 - Madrid - Córdoba - Sevilla:
Today depart for Córdoba, the birthplace of the philosopher Seneca, where you will see the famed “Mezquita,” a fine example of mudéjar architecture. Afterwards, continue on to Sevilla, the capital of Andalucía. Overnight in Sevilla with a group dinner.
Day 6 - Sevilla - City Tour:
Today’s city tour visits the Cathedral, the Giralda, the Alcázar and its gardens, and the Santa Cruz Quarters. The afternoon is free to walk along the paths of beautiful María Luisa Park.
Day 7 - Sevilla - Granada - Costa del Sol:
Depart today for  Granada and a city tour that visits the Red Citadel of the Alhambra Palace, the Generalife Gardens and the Palace of Charles V. Afterwards, continue to Costa del Sol. Your evening is free to enjoy the warmth of the south. A group dinner is included.
Day 8 - Costa del Sol - Mijas:
Today’s morning tour travels to the charming village of Mijas. In the afternoon you are at leisure to enjoy swimming and sunbathing in the Mediterranean. A special group dinner marks your final night on tour.
Day 9 - Departure:
Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
