Day 01 - Departure:
Evening departure for Paris, City of Light.
Day 02 - Paris:
Your private coach will transfer you to the center of Paris for a guided mini city tour. After hotel check-in and break, a short orientation tour acquaints you with Paris.
Day 3 - Paris:
The day starts by a river cruise on the Seine River. In the afternoon you will visit the highlights of Paris like the Champs Elysées Avenue, the Arc de Triomphe or the Opera. Later on, a walking tour of City Island: Pont Neuf, Conciergerie, Sainte Chapelle. You will end the day by the visit of the Eiffel
Tower (second floor) and a dinner on the first floor.
Day 4 - Paris/Versailles/Louvre:
Your coach and guide will take you out of the city for the morning to see the Palace of Versailles. Here Louis XIV set the standards of Absolute Monarchy. Return at Paris for lunch time. In the afternoon, you will be able to discover the masterpieces of the Louvre museum such as Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and the Wing victory.
Day 5 - Normandy:
Departure to the Normandy Beaches.Picture stop at Arromanches. Second stop at Bayeux, where you will visit the Mathilda’s Tapestry. In the afternoon, you will reach the coast, where you will see Omaha Beach and visit the US Cemetery at St Laurent. Overnight at Granville, a seaside resort of Normandy.
Day 6 – Normandy/Loire Valley:
In the morning, drive to the Mont Saint Michel, the second most visited French place after Paris, visit of the abbey. After lunch time, your coach and tour leader will drive you to the Loire Valley. You will pass through the city of Angers and follow the Loire River up to Tours. Overnight at Tours, heart of the Loire valley.
Day 7 – Loire Valley:
Visit of the Clos Lucé, the manor house where Leonardo Da Vinci spent the last three years of his life, discover the machines he created. Visit of Chenonceau built on the river and nicknamed the castle of the 6 ladies, among them Catherine Dei Medici. Visit of Chambord build under the reign of Francis 1st and largest chateau in the Loire. Return to Paris for the night.
Day 8 - Paris/USA:
Return to the airport and your return flight to the USA.
