TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2010
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE TOUR COST
~ Round trip air on scheduled airline
~ 3 & 4 star centrally located hotels
~ Daily breakfast and additional meals as noted in itinerary
~ Entrance fees to museums and places of interest as noted in tinerary
~ Local guides as indicated
~ All transfers and transportation while on tour
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR COST
~ Passport fees,
~ Surcharges due to currency changes, any mandatory or increased fees/taxes/fuel charges levied on airline tickets, hotels, transportation, land services or any port of entry/exit
~ Transportation to US airports
LATE ENROLLMENT
New applicants may join the tour within 35 days of departure. Reservations will be made for new participants upon receipt of payment in full for the cost of the tour and a signed original application form. Payment must be made with a cashiers check or money order.
LATE FEES
Participants who fail to make payments on time will be subject to a $100.00 late fee.
Participants who have not paid in full 59 days prior to departure may have their reservation cancelled, without a refund. Airlines and hotels will not continue to hold reservations without payment. PLEASE MAKE A NOTE ON YOUR CALENDAR WHEN FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE, AS IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY IN A TIMELY MANNER.
NSF - RETURNED CHECK FEES
Any check returned to IC for NSF will be charged a $30.00 processing fee and will require replacement with a certified check or money order.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Substitutions are permitted if the teacher/group leader approves of the replacement. The replacement must send IC a completed original application form along with all payments due to date. The person cancelling must submit written notice of cancellation.
THE CANCELLATION LETTER OF THE PERSON WITHDRAWING AND THE NEW PARTICIPANT APPLICATION AND CHECK MUST BE SENT IN THE SAME ENVELOPE TO:TO INTERNATIONAL CLASSROOM , P.O. BOX 263 WEATHERSFIELD, VERMONT 05151
No substitutions are allowed within 35 days of departure.
Refund for participant withdrawing - all payments less $350.00
LUGGAGE
Airlines have strict luggage rules. You may bring one suitcase weighing no more than 44 pounds and a carry on that will fit under the seat or in the overhead compartment. Any liquids in carry-on luggage must be less than 3 ounces and sealed in a zip lock bag. Check the airlines for specific regulations. European airlines frequently charge for overweight bags and IC is not responsible for any of these fees. Pack lightly.
INSURANCE
IC strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance. Unforseen events may occur before departing or when abroad. Coverage will give you peace of mind.
STUDENT BEHAVIOR
The use of drugs, the consumption of hard liquor, or binge drinking is strickly forbidden and will result in the participant's removal from the tour and return to the US at the traveler's or parent's expense.
HOTEL BEHAVIOR
Hotel public areas and guest rooms must not be gathering places for parties or loud activities. Respect for others and private property must be maintained at all times.
TRANSPORTATION
Participant use of any form of transportaion not authorized by IC Tours, its employees or representatives is strictly forbidden.
